Sorrento Park upgrade 2017

Click on images for a full size image

New compass installed, & new surface with a major job involved in reclaiming the bricks found, then using them to border the new circle, with the final diameter very close to the original WW II circle.
New seats were also installed, all following a major reclaiming of this advantage viewing point, removing the briars, gorse, plus general rubbish.

Heavy machinery had to be used to revamp the original path to the existing zig zag seat and extend it to the new viewing point. The 1016 - 2016 memorable stone that DTT commissioned & installed last year, was relocated in the flat position where the compass points to the east
